How long have you worked for venYou? One year

What led you to this career? My sister, Nicole, who is also in the housekeeping department made me aware there was a job opening. I had only recently left school, so I decided to apply and got the job.

What does a typical day involve? Typically, my day involves the cleaning and upkeep of all four venYou buildings. Some days vary from cleaning office space to the meeting rooms and communal areas.

What’s your favourite part of your job? I like the team I work with. They have made me feel welcome, so my favourite part is the teamwork.

What has been one of your biggest achievements since joining the team at venYou? I am quite a reserved/shy person, I was nervous going into the working world, so I think my best achievement is being less shy and more social. I still have a long way to go but it’s only a year in and hopefully with time I’ll be a bit more confident.

Can you describe the venYou environment in three words? Welcoming, fun, hardworking.

In your opinion, what makes venYou stand out from its competitors? I think the venYou team and location gives us the upper hand. In the year I have been here I can see that our team put the clients first and the service is fantastic.

How do you like to relax outside of work? Watch movies, listen to music, go out with friends.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself? I have been told I am quite a good artist.
